We are hosting a Turbogears sprint this weekend here at Humantech. TurboGears is a cool new Python based MVC framework for web development. It re-uses existing and highly functional python frameworks, so even though it is only a few weeks old it’s already useful for real work.In my mind one of the key elements that needs to be added for TurboGears to make it in the highly competitive web framework market is a session persistence framework that is simple and scalable. Sure there are lots of web-apps that don’t really need session persistence, but there are even more that do.

Anyway, the sprint will be from 10 am to 3 pm Saturday October 8.
