TurboGears at OhioLinuxFest

OhioLinuxOn September 29th (this Saturday), I’ll be at the OhioLinuxFest, hanging out at the Spliced Networks booth talking about TurboGears, the TurboGears book, and Spliced Networks “app stack” for TurboGears deployment.

If anybody wants to get together for lunch/dinner to talk about TurboGears, Python, or web development feel free to drop by the booth, and we’ll set a time and place. You can also leave a comment here, or e-mail me (my address is my first name at compoundthinking.com).

  1. Looks like your link to OhioLinuxFest is messed up. I think it’s http://ohiolinux.org. Anyhow, I wish I would have known about the ‘fest sooner. Sounds like a good event, and it would have been cool to meet up and talk Python web dev. Seems like I keep hearing of more and more Ohioans into Python. Cool stuff.

  2. Well, in my case it’s really michiganians Python developers, who are traveling to Ohio to check out the Linux scene there. ;)

But there’s a lot more open source activity in our little corner of the midwest than people give us credit for. I’m hoping we can gain a bit more visibility over the next year or two. But that’s a whole different story.
